Management Team
Brendan Iribe — Cofounder, President and CEOBrendan Iribe cofounded Scaleform in 2004 and serves as the company's president and CEO. He oversees all aspects of Scaleform's technology development and product strategy and leads the company's overall corporate direction.
Under Brendan's leadership, Scaleform has become one of the fastest-growing middleware companies and the #1 provider of user interface solutions to the interactive entertainment industry.
Prior to founding Scaleform, Brendan led the multimedia division of Quatrefoil, a creator of custom museum exhibits, to rapid growth while managing, designing and implementing the interactive portions of exhibits for clients such as The Tech Museum of Innovation, the National Science Center and Paul Allen's Experience Music Project (EMP).
Brendan attended the University of Maryland, where he studied computer science and electrical engineering before starting Scaleform.
Michael Antonov is chief software architect and co-founder of Scaleform. He is the primary architect and a lead programmer of Scaleform GFx, Scaleform's graphical user interface and vector graphics solution.
While creating this framework, Michael collaborated with several of the most distinguished software engineers in the industry, including the original creators of C++ and STL. With over 12 years of programming experience, Michael possesses the ability to design and develop a wide range of complex software systems, including modern compilers, operating systems, graphical user interfaces, vector graphics engines and large-scale commercial software applications.
Michael holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Maryland.
Marc is chief operating officer at Scaleform where he oversees the company’s business operations including sales, marketing, business development, licensing, customer support and administrative activities on a worldwide basis.
Prior to Scaleform, Marc was Senior Vice President of Business Development at Discovery Communications where he set corporate-wide strategy and expanded the company’s digital media and cable TV businesses through corporate acquisitions, strategic partnerships, and brand extensions. Before Discovery, Marc was the President of North America for Codemasters, a UK-based publisher of interactive entertainment software, where he oversaw all sales, marketing and business development activities for North America. Prior to this, Marc was with Activision (NASDAQ: ATVI) in business development and product development roles. There, he was instrumental in driving the company’s rapid growth by launching its European and Japanese studio operations, initiating its North American affiliate label business, and leading numerous intellectual property, product and corporate acquisitions. Earlier, Marc worked for Morgan Stanley & Co. in London and New York.
Marc holds an MBA from Yale’s School of Management and an MS and BS in Computer Science from the University at Albany.
P. Chrisman Iribe — Chief Financial Officer
Chris Iribe joined Scaleform in 2005 as CFO and is responsible for the company's financial and administrative affairs.
Prior to Scaleform, Chris was president and COO of the National Energy and Gas Transmission Company (NEGT), one of the nation's leading unregulated power producers. Chris started in 1989 with NEGT's predecessor company, US Generating, and was instrumental in driving it's rapid growth from 5 initial employees to a company with over 2000 employees, $5 billion of electric generating assets under management, $100 MM annual operating income and operations in 15 states and Canada. Prior to US Generating, Chris worked for over 15 years in the U. S. energy industry, principally at the Coastal Corporation and as an economist for several Federal agencies.
Chris holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from The George Washington University.
Mustafa "Moose" Thamer – Director of Engineering
Moose is the Director Of Engineering at Scaleform, where he is responsible for managing the engineering department as well as leading all aspects of core software development.
As a veteran of almost 20 years in the industry, Moose has been in a lead tech role at various prominent game studios including NDL, Virtus/RedStorm, HeadSpin Technology, Cyan Worlds and Firaxis Games. Most recently, Moose was the Lead Programmer on the award winning, AAA titles Sid Meier's Civilization IV and Sid Meier's Civilization Revolution.
Mustafa has a BS in Computer Science from the University of Maryland and an MS CS degree from The Ohio State University.
Country Managers
Dillon Seo — Business Director, Korea
Dillon Seo oversees Scaleform's business development, marketing and sales initiatives for the Korean markets.
Prior to Scaleform, Dillon was a global business manager at the Korea Game Industry Agency (KOGIA), the Korean government agency formed under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to regulate and promote the Korean game industry. There, he established key business relationships with various national and international game companies/organizations and promoted the Korean game industry locally and globally. Prior to KOGIA, Dillon was a global business manager at NDOORS Corporation, a Korean-based online game publisher, where he focused on building international business networks, driving international sales and developing marketing programs for the company's game properties.
Dillon received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Alberta.
Ben Mowery — Business Director, China, Taiwan, Singapore
Ben Mowery is responsible for Scaleform's operations in China, Taiwan and Singapore. He is fluent in Chinese and directs all marketing, sales, customer support and localization initiatives from his base in Shanghai.
Prior to Scaleform, Ben served in a variety of software design and product development roles at Intel, Oracle and NVIDIA, with a focus on systems software, simulation and performance analysis.
Ben holds dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering and a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from Stanford University.
Alex Nagayama — Business Director, JapanAlex Nagayama directs all business development, marketing and sales initiatives for Scaleform in Japan.
Prior to Scaleform, Alex was a Vice President of Business Development at the HI Corporation where he set global strategy for the mobile handset market and grew the company's embedded 3D rendering engine business with mobile game developers and publishers. Before HI Corporation, Alex was a Japan country manager at Activision (NASDAQ: ATVI). There, he expanded the company's brands and domestic publishing business by establishing licensing and co-publishing partnerships with Japan's leading game publishers. Prior to this, Alex was a marketing director at Electronic Arts (NASDAQ: ERTS) Japan where he oversaw all marketing and business development activities for Japan. Before EA, he was a product manager at Apple Inc. where he led the domestic Japanese imaging products marketing team. Earlier, Alex worked for Canon Inc. in Tokyo and Dallas.
Alex received his Bachelor of Arts from the Keio Gijyuku University.
